Alternatives Unlimited

♦ Promoted to "Head Teacher" after the first three months of employment with Alternatives Unlimited.  This position gives me the opportunity to assume extra responsibilities that help keep the program running well.

Securitas Security Services

♦ Within two months of employment, I earned the "Officer of the Month" award on a client account with 200+ employees.  

Canaan Christian School

♦ When I began teaching in Canaan Christian School, there was a grade level deficiency problem.  Many of the students were severely behind in at least one subject area.  Most of the students were behind in Language Arts, with the student average being a 1.3 grade level deficiency in this subject area.  By working individually with students and  helping them to focus on problem subjects, this problem was remedied in all but a few students.  
 ♦ In May of 2004, I co-led a two week trip to Arizona with 19 students.  My students participated in an international student convention, several of them receiving high honors.
 ♦ To help build reading skills, I began an after-school reading program.  This program had a great impact on my students, helping them develop a much greater degree of reading fluency.
 ♦ On National Agriculture Day, I was invited to be a guest speaker at a city-wide school convention with six schools in attendance.  I presented a science exposition on "The Effects of Deforestation on Soil in Haiti."  This presentation captivated the attention of students from all grade levels and was highly praised by all faculty and staff in attendance.  

Wal-Mart Distribution Center #6059

♦ While working at Wal-Mart, I had a single day production of 172%.  This acheivement set a new shift production record.
